International debut of the Continental III 26.00 Raised Pilothouse
DEBUT OF THE ALL NEW CONTINENTAL III 26.00 RAISED PILOTHOUSE AT THE DÜSSELDORF BOAT SHOW 2014.
We are very pleased to report that the all new Continental III 26.00 Raised Pilothouse will make her international debut at the Düsseldorf Boat Show 2014 (stand 6D57 in the super yacht hall).
The Continental III 26.00 Raised Pilothouse is one of the most exciting, elegant and progressive super yacht designs the Van der Valk shipyard has revealed until now. Guido de Groot Design is responsible for both the yacht’s exterior and interior design.
Her remarkable main deck area accommodates both the salon and dining area together with a spacious closable galley. Several fine materials, like Moore & Giles™ leathers, solid Santos Mahogany floorings, white washed vertical grain oak walls and interior objects and Ultraleather™ ceilings, go beautifully synchronized and show a clear modern and sophisticated style. A professional Fohnn Audio™ sound system transforms both the saloon and the flybridge area to an exclusive private nightclub. The master stateroom is situated on the main deck in the front part of the yacht. The en suite bathroom with Bizazza™ Mosaics and Durat™ worktops perfectly fits with the style of the master stateroom.
Both the saloon/dining area and the owners residence are separated by a half-raised pilothouse.
The main stairway grants access to the lower accommodation deck. The 4 guest cabins, and their own individual bathrooms all enjoy contemporary fittings and stylish décors with beautifully designed details. The layout of the guest rooms is perfectly balanced by the symmetric layout.
The front part of the accommodation deck is especially designed for the accommodation of a three-man crew. The 2-cabin crew area offering fixed 3 berths and a spacious crew-mess with a kitchen and laundry area.
The enlarged flybridge deck offers an outside helm position accompanied by a wet bar on port side and opposite a large L-shaped sofa which serves as both lounge and outside dining area. The rear section of the flybridge has been reserved for the 3 PWC’s (2 wave runners and 1 jet ski).
Her advanced lightweight aluminium semi-displacement hull in combination with the revolutionary Volvo Penta IPS drive technology (triple Volvo Penta IPS-1200 D13-900, 6 cylinder engine) supplies extremely accurate steering behaviour and easy manoeuvrability. Moreover, at any speed, noise levels remain exceptionally low thanks to the underwater exhausts and shaft alignment elimination.
