Also taking shape in spectacular fashion at our facilities is the first in our striking new BeachClub range of yachts. Construction of the 19.05-metre Van der Valk – BeachClub 600 started early 2017 and everything is on schedule for launching early next year. The aluminium hull and superstructure will be finished this summer, with the next steps being the sandblasting and insulation, followed by preparations for the paintwork.
Each week that we work on the BeachClub 600 it becomes ever clearer just how spacious this fabulous yacht is going to be. That, of course, is the whole idea behind this innovative concept which offers a unique new way of looking at space by installing the propulsion system aft in the area of the swim platform.
Dispensing with the traditional engine room gives an unprecedented amount of interior volume, plus space for three awesome al fresco zones, all of which are taking shape before our eyes. Look at the photo and imagine how the BeachClub 600 will feel with her expansive 25 m2 foredeck area, 17 m2 cockpit deck with outside steering position, and 14 m2 beach club aft with a smart swimming platform & sun lounge area.
