MY Sherakhan, 70 meter explorer motor yacht arrived to ICON Yachts shipyard for an extreme make over! As per the owner’s words: ‘You won’t be able to recognize her, she is getting a complete new look and when you will see her you won’t believe it is the same boat!”
Sherakhan arrived to the shipyard on the 13th of September and is planning her departure boasting her new looks on the 10th of November 2017. Another big challenge at ICON to fulfill a long worklist in a short amount of time. We are proud to deliver always on time and on budget!
In terms of color and design restyling she is transforming from a classic vintage look to a harmonious modern minimalistic style.
Sherakhan is not only going through a cosmetic refit on exterior and interior but also upgrading the electric systems completely from new cabling to upgraded AVTV systems and installing the latest high tech onboard.
She was the first passenger vessel to get the status of passenger yacht with Bureau Veritas Class, hence she can sleep up to 24 guests on 12 guest staterooms.
Stay tuned to see the first antilogy in yachting, a minimalistic modern looking explorer classic yacht cruising in the most remote areas of this planet.
Her charter itinerary includes Antarctica, Patagonia, Polynesia, Greenland, the Baltic and of course the usual charter destinations on the Med and the Caribbean.
